After studying music at Manchester University and The Guildhall with Bernard Gregor-Smith and Stefan Popov, Kate became very involved with music in Nottinghamshire where she both taught and played with a number of ensembles and orchestras. Moving to Malvern with her husband and two daughters five years ago she now balances Capriccio Quartet engagements with work as co-ordinator of a family support charity in Malvern.
