Kathy studied at The Guildhall with Joan Spencer and Max Rostal (violin) & Laurence Gerrish (piano). She combines teaching at the Elgar School of Music, Worcester and Birmingham University with playing in chamber ensembles, including the Elgar Camerata, Volante Strings and the Elysian Piano Trio. She also plays 'fiddle' in the new Valenki group who share her passion for East European music! She is a freelance piano accompanist.
