This is just to thank you and other members of the Capriccio Quartet for complementing so well our celebration of Laura and Tom’s marriage on 2nd August. Despite my leaving it very late to book, everything seemed to be handled with calm efficiency throughout, even the possibility of playing in a hay meadow! And, on the day, what we all heard, and saw, was just right.

We greatly appreciated your playing on such an important day. The repertoire was quite inspired – with many familiar tunes that gave a kind of tacit musical quiz to those who stood nearby listening, rather than letting it just be background sound! I did exactly that for a good while and I was the bride’s father! Many of my relatives with quite a strong musical heritage also expressed their enjoyment and also stood around nearby for the same reason

It added great atmosphere to the occasion, with afternoon tea on the Vicarage lawn, with Tewkesbury Abbey in the background, prior to the formal reception – it made the perfect accompaniment to a wonderful wedding day for our daughter and son-in-law

I want to thank you all for playing at our wedding, the music was fantastic and everyone commented how nice it was to have strings rather than organ in the church. We certainly created a talking point with Yoda's theme too - all the Star Wars mad friends of Gary were very impressed! The music in the garden hit exactly the right spot- upbeat and summery and you really helped to make our day perfect. We won't hesitate to recommend you.
